Ela's song name game comes to DevArt!What I do: I'm putting my iPod on Shuffle and writing down the first lines of the first 30 songs that play. Spoken lines don't count. Remember, IT'S ALWAYS THE FIRST LINE!!! Don't be fooled! (There are some exceptions to this rule, which I will point out if they come up.)
What you do: Comment on this journal guessing the titles of whichever songs you know, and who the song is by or what it's from. Don't worry if someone already guessed one that you know, include them all! Only, no cheating. You know it or you don't. If you suddenly remember it (without looking it up) you can reply to your own comment.
What's NOT included:
- songs in a language other than English
- instrumental songs
- songs by the IUCC
- songs that were on the two lists on Facebook
Extra tips:
About covers, because I have a fair amount of those - I will accept only artists who have played the song BEFORE the one who I have on my iPod. For example, for Sarah Brightman's Scarborough Fair I will accept Simon and Garfunkel (because they played the song before her) but for Sarah Brightman's What You Never Know I will not accept Hayley Westenra (because she covered the song after Sarah). Both of those songs have already been done on previous quizzes.
You will probably see a lot of Phantom of the Opera, Sarah Brightman, Oasis, and Eurovision. (weird combination, huh?) If I was including French songs you'd also probably see a bunch of Natasha St-Pier.
I will announce the winner when I feel like it.

love for him ever since 3rd grade. Freddie D. finally had the courage to
ask her out, and of course, she had been waiting to yes to that for
years. They grew up and
married each other to live happily forever.
Third Example:
Now if you couldn't relate to the others, this'll get ya hooked. Listen
to this. A kid named Jordan Johnson was just getting on AOL to check
his mail. He was a quiet kid, not that popular but not a geek either. he
was just normal. He saw he had mail from his friend. It was this exact
letter. Now Jordan Johnsen was a smart kid and he knew what could
happen if he didnt pass it on. He simply pulled a few friends from his buddy
list and sent it along. The next day, about that same time, he got a
phone call. It said he had won the lottery!
then his dad came home and bought him a new bike! His mom bought him
Nintendo64 and play station! His grandmother sent him a new computer, and

gave him tickets to the concert he wanted to go to, Kid Rock and Limp
Bizkit! Then he inherited a brand-new tv from his aunt! He was goin'
wild! the next day his secret crush asked him out, and they have been
going out ever since.
